The Listening Post project is a process of listening and sharing of stories to process the community grief experienced in Camden, Wollondilly and northern Wingecarribee from the bushfires and COVID-19.
Prior to the bushfires, drought affected our communites. After the fires came some flooding. Then came COVID-19 and suddenly a new set of challenges and experiences affected all of us. The limitations of COVID-19 have delayed and impeded our process of community recovery from the fires.
Our vision is not just to support individuals today, but to build a resilient community with a network of relationships between individuals and organisations. This is so we are better prepared for future crises and can advocate together on issues of the common good.
