Struggling with housing – April 2022 – Robert

Robert, a 21yr old experiences abuse from his father and has severe mental health issues.

Robert previously lived in his car in front of his father’s house for 5 months. No housing solutions were offered to him.

Shining Stars Foundation visited Robert with a Mental Health worker. Eventually Robert was sectioned under the Mental health Act, due to his declining mental health. In April 2022, Robert was still in hospital and trying to get NDIS assistance in order to be released.
